Any recent reports on the fishing? We are heading out there tonight by the refuge to try for some catfish.

its been good shrimp and liver bite is after 3am till sunnup

Well fishing sucked, all we caught was a buzz and a couple small cats. Didn't make it out to the refuge because I remembered you couldn't have fires out there, so we went over to Corrine and fished by the treatment plant. Slow!

Went out again to try my luck, finally found a good spot with a few fish. First I caught about 2 small fish then I hooked into a nice catfish, finally got in after a 15 minute fight on 6 pound test line. 31 inches 10 pounds!

During the day but I was in a boat and it was raining.
