Carpin' at Lincoln

Still some good carp shootin' at Lincoln Beach. Took my gsons out cattin' this morning and then went after a few carp after sunrise. They are spooky and it is hard to get close enough for a good shot but there are some real pigs out there. Got two today that went over 10 lbs... lots of cat bait.

As can be seen, the water is getting lower every day now in the channel... about 2 feet deep now. Still some power boaters going out but caution needed.

Got about a dozen cats today but biggest about 24 inches. Soon, the big ones will come.

I am gonna have to try this out before fall swings around. Got a few carp in a pond that need removing! For some reason they have become smart enough to avoid my flies!
