With the mild winter, any estimates on walleye/white bass run for April?? We hit the system last year in May, and the walleye were done, and whitebass in full bite.. It may be earlier this year..<br><br>[laugh]

Lilacs are just starting to open.<br>We know what this means.<br><br>For whatever reason, it works every year to determine the whitebass run... Within 2 weeks, you should be able to walk across the river and not touch the water. (i.e on boats)..<br><br>[laugh]

Hi,
I fish it often as I live two blocks from winnebago> when I hear something I'll post it here for you. Had a great year sturgeon spearing on the lake. Lots of big ones speared. I expect the ice to go out fast as its ot as thick as other years. We actually had open water spots all winter long.
