Just wondering if anybody has visited Tony's Grove lately. Haven't been there in years and was hoping the fishing was good. And if so, what was used to catch them. Thank you.

I haven't fish it this summer, but they usually keep it full of planter bows. Last time I fished it, if you could get your lure 10' deep you could catch plenty on spoons or spinners. I'm sure powerbait would work if its legal. Check the regs on that one before you try it. Later in the day or early when the fish are near the surface try a fly. Hopper and dropper combo should work now. Float tubes are really fun up there, graphed good populations of fish in the deeper water by the outlet and just north of the north end of the dam. Some good spots on west side to. Good luck. J

I've fished it a few time in last couple weeks. It's fishing fair from the west shore with bait. Lures didn't work so well from shore , but worked better out in the lake being trolled from a kayak. Flies behind a bubble only worked out behind the kayak also. Best time was about 6 pm until dark. Hope this helps.
