Thanks for posting your report, sounds like some of those cutts are getting to a good size. I moved your post to the Utah board, so others can read it.

I'd love to take my boat up to LC.
I did a dry drive last Friday just to see, and the road is still terrible IMO.
Those pot hole patches give a false sense of security and just whenn you think its good road.... wham bam pot hole slam...
Gonna have to continue to float tube or bank tangle unless you care to drive very very very slowly to protect your tin can.
Hopefully they re-pave it soon...

I agree that the road to lost creek needs to be paved but... it is considerably better than when I went up in June.. just say-in........ also speed limit is 30... drive easy leave early so you can take your time.. well worth the time and drive if you run into some fish !!!!

With the road in terrible shape, a lot of folks will not take the time or effort to make that drive and possibly damage their craft. This, in turn, will keep this smallish containment area from becoming over crowded. I like that! [

Ya good point. Think I'll throw the tube in and do a bit of sinking line with buggers this weekend.

We hit LC last night after work for a couple of hours. Road is still a bit rough but is a lot better then it was in the spring. Islands are starting to poke out as the level drops. The fishing was pretty steady and we landed a couple of nice slot fish and bunches of little guys. We both hooked into some bigger fish that snapped our line, so that kept us out until dark, which came way too soon. 3 other boats and one kayak on the water, most sticking to the dam area. Good to get out again after 3 weeks, August seemed to storm every time I had a free night.

How was the boat launch? Water level at the ramp?

Water is way down but the ramp is still good. Best to launch with 2 people or you'll have to beach your boat. We launch, have your partner park the truck and pick them off of the right hand side where it is deep enough to nose her in.

Thanks for the response. Sounds about like it was last year.
