I've never fished Porcupine reservoir. What has been the average size of the Kokanee there this year?

Kokes 12-14" average size for me. 12" through ice and 14" trolled at end of season. Later J

Nice pix! Got a date to romp the dogs and see the fish this afternoon. I'll take some pix.

Have to concur with Jeff's assessment. End of June seemed to hit about 12" at best, but by mid Aug as they started taking on pink they were pushing 14". From my limited experience, and other reports - that's pretty good for the Pig. Many years they've run 9-10" mostly. So maybe the increased harvest limit has helped. I've tried to do my part this year.

I'll be sure to be back out there next summer.

The cooler top is 13" wide, so give you a reference.
