low water and white bass @ UL
#1
took the boy back out on the lake today chasing whities, once we found a school it was every cast just as fast as we could go! fished hard for 4 hrs with a total of over 100 fish caught. Both of our thumbs are rubbed raw but it sure was fun. fished just south of the inlet of the provo in about 3 ft. of water. Used white bass meat on a #2 hook with 2ft leader behind a small slip weight and swivel jigged slowly. If you managed to get the hook back to the boat without a fish on it you were retrieving to fast,

Sounds like a good time. Did you manage anything besides the Whites?

yes we did launch at Provo, still low water in the harbor and banged the motor on something about halfway between west pier and the outlet of the harbor on the south side of the marked lane so be careful, thankfully no damage
