New from UtT
#1
I'm a new member residing in UT. I grew up in Michigan fishing as much as possible. I really enjoy perch and walleye fishing. It's been a challenge finding these guys here especially using my Midwestern styles. I've found some perch but the walleye continue to out smart me Smile I look forward to posting and learning.

Welcome to the site EzPz, I see you have found the Utah board already. A lot of our members on the Ut board are from Michigan. I'm sure you will be able to read a few post about walleye and perch fishing, a few from DC.

Welcome Ezpz13! I'm interested in how you are catching the perch (yellow perch?). I'd posted a query on the Freshwater Fishing Forum > Crappie & Panfish board. Hit me there if you get a chance to share ok

Hey EZPZ13 check out Rocky Mountain Anglers at www.rockymountainanglers.com, they are a walleye fishing club with local tournaments every month. It's a great way to find out which waters have walleye, when they tend to be biting and the current conditions of the fisheries. They have meetings every second Tuesday at the VFW in Murray, Utah on Fifth Street. They also fish for other species including Pike. See you around.

From the rac meeting the dnr accepted no limit on perch only at fish lake but there will be once more meeting on october to officially confirm.

Best time for perch is the winter time during ice season.
