2 out of 3 still isn't good enough!

So all week I was planning on fishing this morning. It was perfect weather! Good temperature (not too hot, and not too cold), and lightly raining. However, one of my local friends on Facebook said there was lightning. *pouts profusely*
Since I'm too scared of my fishing rod being turned into a lightning rod, I stayed home and did laundry.

I remember once I went to fish Weber River off I-84, and the sun was shining WITH some little rain clouds. So no fear of lightning that time. How come that can't happen more often?

I look at it from another perspective...I say to myself, "the crowds will be light, let's go". The odds of a lightning hit is about the same as catching one of those tagged rainbows at Strawberry !!!!

I probly would have gotten skunked anyway...as usual. I should stop calling it "fishing", and say I'm going casting practice Wink LOL

I braved the rain and hit Utah Lake. It rained the entire time, but I didn't see any lightning. Fishing wasn't bad.
