My sons and I fished renegade yesterday from about 9-2. We had steady action all day and left them biting. Initially we had four lines out, two on the downriggers (20 and 40 feet) and two flatlines. For the first couple of hours it was about 50/50 between hookups on the riggers and flat lines. After that, nothing on the downriggers and the surface action really picked up. We trolled a mix of dead minnows, Rapalas, spoons, and various jigs. We ended up catching and releasing 27 fish, and probably lost as many. I didn't keep close track--but it seemed our fish were roughly half bows/half cuts. Caught a few in the 3 lb range and lost a monster at the boat...The water temp was 56 degrees, and the weather was spectacular.

Good report sounds like it was good fishing at Renegade. I hit the North end of the lake with my daughter fly fishing out of our kickboats. Had a pretty good day catching 15 or so fish. All were rainbows surprised that we didn't catch any cutts. We fished till about noon when the wind blew us off. Ran into Flygodess and talked to her and her husband for a few minutes. Great day of fishing!!!

Yeah the wind really kicked up in the afternoon. I was thankful for trim tabs when we made the run back to Strawberry Bay in the afternoon. I can't wait to go back next weekend[bobhappy]
