Strawberry New Years Day
#1
[#000080]Don't try driving to the Dam at Soldier Creek, they haven't plowed the road. I found out the hardway. Drove right into a couple feet of snow, I pulled out my trusty shovel and put my truck in to 4 wheel low 5 minutes later we are heading to Chicken Creek.[/#000080]

[#000080]Fishcop was out carding people on the ice. It was overcast with a slight breeze. Temperature was sitting about 25 degrees. 12" of ice under 2-4 " of water under about 8" of snow.[/#000080]

[#000080]We got seven fish from the depths below. Lost 4 at the hole(including a great big one. Find a cutt with chart. paddlebug pinned to its lip...well you know). Missed alot of bites and hooksets. [/#000080]

[#000080]We used frozen minnows and crawlers. Crawlers were shutout.[/#000080]
