Well my kids are mad because I don't take them with me fishing enough. I was thinking I could take them up to Trial lake tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone has been up that way lately? Are any of the lakes around there fishing better than Trial? What's working best? I will be using a fly rod, the kids will be using a spinning rod.
I'll let you guys know how it goes after we get back.
Thanks.

I fished trial for about an hour thursday, Mornings were cold with a bit of ice on the edges of the lakes, the eyelets on my fly rod were freezing it was so cold. i was using tiny nymphs and was catching a tiger about every cast at trial.

Thanks. Fishing was about how you suggested it would be, caught one nearly every cast. I spent more time baiting my kids hooks than I did fishing myself. We got ten or twelve tigers and three or so rainbows.
It did snow as well. Nothing stuck, but we were prepared, thanks Remo.
