Q about a pond near Provo.

Can anyone tell me about this pond off I-15, west side, near Provo?

The map says it is Mill Pond. I have passed it umpteen times and always thought it looked quite fishy and fishable but have never pursued it further.

I've only lived in Utah 8 years so am still discovering new waters to fish. This one looks like my style.

Since I've never seen anyone fishing it nor a boat on it have presumed it to be off limits or private or both.

What say ye?

Has about every species of fish in Utah in it. You're right though. It's both off-limits and private.
I would love to have at it for a day or two to quench my own curiosity!

Well, that was easy enough.

The good news and the not so good.

Good my intuition held true. I'm okay with that.

Bad, that I guessed it was off limits and private.

Passed it last night going south to fish at sunset.

All kinds of surface activity going on for those couple of seconds I watched and wondered.

Oh well, scratch that one.

Maybe someone next to my own neighborhood will invite me to fish in the pond behind the National Guard HQ. would love to fish there, too.
