New to the forum in SLC

Hello all. I've been reading all the great posts for about a week and finally signed up. Had a good time at Strawberry near Haws Point in the fog trying to figure out my new/used one man Pontoon setup. Still managed to catch a few when the sun broke through but all small rainbows about 12". Cant wait to go back up..

Welcome to BFT and thanks for posting. I was also up there Saturday and that fog was awful. I made the mistake of launching at The Strawberry Marina and tried to head over to the Renegade area. Gave up and just stopped and fished until the fog raised a little.

We fished in the edge of the fog most of the morning and had an awesome day. We happend to stop in a great spot. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

Thanks. I ended up a bit further from where I thought I was since I could see anything. It was a good maiden voyage for the pontoon until the wind came up. I left around 12:30 or so.

I remember a few years ago I launched in the fog, got totally turned around from where we thought we were, when the fog finally lifted I was totally lost [laugh]
