Well that puts closure on another great visit to the H. Really wanted to make one last trip but I guess it will be another 7 months.

Fishing has been very slow except at the state park . My wife and I fished off bank for 3 hours landed 1 fish . There were 10 people fishing by us , only 4 fish landed out of all of us . The moss is dieing and floating on top . Keeps fouling our lines .

I was thinking that the wind will cool the water so it will freeze fast as soon as it calms down. News said the wind chill was -17 at 7 am. Hoping for Saturday but probably not thick enough by then. Need to get signed up for the ice contest.

I saw a picture that a friend of a friend took of Henrys today, from what looked to be from the north side. It was capped but not smooth at all. I thought the wind could have blown any ice off. I will be ther every Saturday until the end of the year except the 21st of nov and before new years

I still look at the forum occasionally but dont post much. I have been obsessed with Flaming Gorge so I fish in wyoming and utah more than idaho. Henrys is a fun place to ice fish so a guy cant leave that one out....
