Uintah trip
#1
Went back up on Saturday for my 2nd trip ice fishing. After watching the weather, I almost didn’t go but glad I did. It was a blizzard the whole way up I was worried the gate was going to be locked. Well arrived at the gate too find the road closed and no winter maintenance sign blocking the road. I saw a few truck tracks going up past the sign. So I decided to give it a whirl, the road up to lost got worse and worse as we climbed in elevation. Finally we made it to lost lake, made it down to punch some holes. Ice was 8 inches of clear beautiful ice. Set the tent up, turned the buddy heater on for the wife. We were ice fishing finally, I rigged the wife’s pole she dropped it down and within a few minutes she was hooked up. Finally got my pole down and BAM! Within a few seconds I hade on my first fish of the season. We ended the day short at about an hour because the weather started to get worse. 5 fish all but 2 released. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Nice work. That seemes like a ton of driving for not a whole lot of fishin but hey, you were probably the last truck to try the HWY and you lived to tell the tale.
