Decided today too go ice fishing after feeling under the weather for the past week but today was a different story. Just had too get out of the house for some fresh air [cool]. I end up catching few bows, brookie, and cutthroat. Sadly my battery for my camera died but got this one picture. Biggest cutthroat trout of the day was the only picture I took and it was measured 17".
Ice is sure thicker but with the new patches snow on top of it made it pretty sketch for sure. Be safe out there.

White paddle bug. I was trying too see if any of the bigger guys would bite a dynamic lure but they were pretty picky today, hitting really softly, slow fishing but still a nice day to play on the ice for a few fish here, and there.

3-4" of solid ice but about 4" of snow ice. One of my legs went thru a pressure crack when leaving so be safe out there. Ice was cracking up right when the sun was going down.

The problem is that FFL's post has 4700 views, so if he were to answer your question of "where are you finding ice?" you would not be able to fish there anyways.

Good to see some ice is here early but surprised you call that fish a cutthroat , looks like a rainbow to me but I don't fish as much as I use to . Still a nice fish no matter what
