Does anyone know how the road conditions to chicken creek are? Also is the water still open to shore fish?

I was there today at CK East. The road is snow packed down to the parking lot on the West and the road that goes to the east had a handful of trucks that drove quite a ways day the shoreline. There is about 6-8 inches of show on the ground. ]Fishing for me from shore was fairly slow, with only a few landed on a tube jig.
