Never been to East Canyon before. Going to go in the morning. How is the road going in from I80? Any info would be great as well. We are planning on going in a little boat. A general direction or area to fish would be great.

I think the roads are all ok.. Just troll around with rainbow rapalas popgear etc, went baitbombing a couple weeks ago near the dam, it was good and most people in boats seemed to be doing good too. Good luck![fishon]

The roads are fine, and they still have a little courtesy dock in. With a breeze today, look for fish stacked up on points. I've had way more success with downriggers there lately -- 25-45 feet.

The East Canyon road from I-80 in Parleys Canyon is now closed for the winter (at Little Dell Res). The only winter access to East Canyon is through Henefer or Morgan, both off I-84.

You can also access EC through the dirt road of jeremy ranch, it should be just fine with no snow up there as of now.
Its alot faster that way if you are coming up the parleys way than going all the way around to henefer.

As mentioned there is the road from Henefer to East canyon. Better than driving all the way to Morgan if your coming up Parleys and don't want to take the dirt road from Jeremy ranch.
