[#800000]Under highlights of the 2004 Utah Fishing Proclamtion: (1) General fishing regulations will apply on the Provo River from Charleston Bridge upstream to the Legacy Bridge at Hwy 113(Midway Lane). Previously this has been flies and lures only with a 2-fish limit. This change was approved by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, Wildlife Board to encourage harvest of an over abundant brown trout population.[/#800000]
[#800000]What this means to me? 2 fish limit under 15 inches. This is per IV Season dates and Bag and Possession Limits section C-6-n(see Provo River sections c/d underGeneral Provisions). [/#800000]

They screwed up the Proclamation. The Highlights section says the artifical flies and lures only has been lifted. But, the General Provisions section doesn't have the new change. OOPS![blush]

Check the proclamation again. It says that the regulations from Midway Lane to Jordanelle dam are artificials only and 2 trout limit. There is no mention of the section between Charleston bridge and Midway Lane because it is now general regulations--general reg. waters are not covered in this section ("Specific Exceptions to the General Provisions).
