Does anyone have or can get a report on the ice conditions on Birch Creek? The info on the DNR website if very vague. Contacted the DNR officer for that region and he is uncertain of the conditions.
If anyone knows, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

I would bet safe ice, but you'll probably have to go and then let some people know through P.M.s.

2 weeks ago there was thin ice at the dam and in the bays. Easy to break. I would think it's ready now, but can't say for sure.

**Update**
Took a drive to little creek in Randolph today. Looks like it was iced but not after today. Still some solid spots but with the rain and wind it opened up a lot of water and is not safe at all. After taking a look just there, I figured Birch would look pretty much the same so I didn't bother to take the drive there. If Birch was iced, the rain and wind just demolished it today. Hopefully the temp stays down this week and it shouldn't take much for it to be solid again.

Welcome to BFT kgut, yeah the wind can cause the issue of not getting what we want. Hopefully soon we will get something decent to fish on.
