Ice bucket PVC mods
#1
Made some modifications to the ice fishing bucket today. I had a nice bucket wrap that would hold my poles in my bucket. Although I like the thought the poles would still flop around and the Velcro that was ment to hold the poles secure was a pain to use. Today I fixed the problem with some PVC mods. All 8 rods are now nice and tight to the bucket and easy to get in and out of the PVC sleeves. Each sleeve was cut to 8 inches and notched so the pole and reel would slid in. I cut one of the sleeves for the pole with the bait caster on it a bit different than the rest. Each sleeve is bolted at the top and bottom to the bucket with 1/4 by half inch long bolts. Can't wait to try it tomorrow.

Wow you have more rods on your bucket than I have in my sled. That's impressive. Later J

Stand them all inside before you start cutting stuff. Reels take a lot of room I don't think five will fit inside. Good luck on the project. Later J
