Fished Holmes yesterday with my two cousins and my son. There was about 3"- 4" of ice. We were there for about an hour. Everyone had a bite but my son was the only one to pull a fish thru the ice. He caught a 12" bass off the bottom.

ya, boput 4 inches across most the lake, good fishing with small jigs! like 15 fish in 30 minutes good.
