Beins as how Rockport is a state park, do you still have to pay your, I think it's $5, to park/go into to fish? Like you do at East Canyon? Even in winter?

There's lots of lake you can fish without going into the state park. But if you do go in you will have to pay or take the chance of a ticket. And i think it's more like 8 or 9 dollars to get in.

That's the shallow end anyway, right? I'll fish elsewhere on Rockport.

$3 to park on the east side last year to the boat ramp it $10. Buying a year state park pass is sure worth the money in the end especially if you go fishing a lot. Takes like 8 trips to park around a boat dock to go fishing then the rest just basically saves you money.

$75 for a season pass well worth the money.

I'm with flyfishlover on the park pass deal. If you boat and ice fish, it is well worth it. My park pass paid for itself months ago and doesn't expire until April. I will be hitting Rockport, Jordanelle, Deer Creek, and Utah Lake on the ice this year. [fishon]
