Decided to try the Soldier Creek side of Strawberry and it did not disappoint.
Between three us we landed over 60 fish and lost several others at the hole in about 5 hours.
The cutts and bows are healthy and fat.
There was about 5-6 inches of ice and 2 inches of slush on top of that. It was a beautiful but cold day and the wind eventually drove us into the comfort of the tent.
Pretty much anything tipped with a meal worm worked well...lighter colors were better than pink or darks.
Looking forward to our next adventure. Hopefully Fish Lake will ice over soon.[
