I wanted to know if anyone has stayed in one of the cabins at fish lake? I want to stay a night up there and ice fish the lake. I don't know who or where to call. I'm not picky on how it looks, just cheap. If anyone could give me some help, I would appreciate it.

I haven't stayed there as we have a family place down in the valley. However, I know if you google "Fish lake cabins utah" you can easily find their contact info. They do have a few cabins there they call "rustic". They are cheaper, but look every day of their age if you know what I mean. Not a lot more than a shack. Probably ok for a fishing stop, but barely. They also have a few bigger ones you can cram a whole crowd into.

Thanks. I did look at the web site, but it only gave their summer rates. I guess I'll call the number and see about it. I thought maybe someone had stayed during the winter months and had a suggestion of which cabin to stay in.

I've stayed there a few times over the last couple years and generally in the Pine Cabin. You can get cabins thru the Lodge number. Right now they have a deal you can get the first night at regular price and the following nights for half price. I plan on staying again this winter so if you go, keep it clean. They have all the things you need to stay so all you'll need is your own food.

They do not rent out all of their cabins in the winter. Just the nicer ones. They charge their prime rate the first night then 1/2 price for the remaining nights. We go down almost every year with extended family to help breakup the cost of the larger cabins. The kids have a blast hanging around their cousins. To make it worth the effort stay 3-4 nights. Get a group together and do it. You wont regret it. My kids rate a fishlake winter get away right up there with a trip to Disneyland.

I have the pine cabin reserved the 24th-25th. I can let you know how it is and what you might need to bring. I tried to rent just for a night, but ended up having to rent two nights (2 night minimum on weekends) It's all good I guess as others has mentioned the second night is half off.

I was up there Saturday. My daughter and I spent the night in Richfield and drove home Sunday morning. If they only have the bigger cabins available let me know and I'll split costs with you. I wasn't ready to go home, the fishing was incredible.
I have a couple buddies that want to go too but I haven't made any plans yet and if we can cut costs it makes it easier. Just throwing it out there. Let me know what ya find out. We crushed the perch, splake and bows
