Just got back from East Canyon. Got skunked. Fished just out from the boat ramp and to the West...fished from 20' to 60' of water...
Some guys i talked to caught a few...in over 75' of water!
Ice was 4" thick, only 2/3 of the reservoir is frozen.

Try between the boat launch and the dam. I fished that area Saturday morning and pulled out six decent bows. Ice was around 3 inches, solid and clear. They seemed to be holding in around 35 ft of water. It was a beautiful day! I hope the temps cool back down soon!

Nice trout! 3 inches of ice ... eesh you are more daring than I. So were you fishing just west of boat launch ramp? How far did you walk out on the ice?
