strawberry 10 inches today

I fished Soldier Creek side by highway 40. 10 inches of solid ice. Very slow fishing. Anybody else with any success today at the Berry?

I also fished SC today and only found 5 inches of ice. However, the fishing was steady. I personally landed 16 and lost or missed another 4. The majority were slots cuts, but managed a limit of bows as well.

I was at Strawberry marina today with about 6" of ice and there were atv's and snowmobiles on the ice. Wish I would have taken a bucket of rocks out to throw at one snow machine that just kept going by us over and over.

hey thanks for replying back yeah when I do bring my four wheelers out I make sure I stay away why do people just given that respects the way it should be everywhere cuz them snowmobiles expescially they can scatter the fish

[frown]Noise on the ice! Motor vehicles on the ice! I was ice fishing across the bay from Strawberry Marina a couple years ago. I was in a hut with a camera looking at the bottom. A group of scouts a couple hundred yards west of me had two snowmobiles. I was watching many fish swimming around my bait. As soon as, the scouts even started a snowmobile the fish would be totally gone for thirty minutes. Even them yelling and running around caused the fish to disappear. Noises on the ice travel long distances and scare the fish. I learned a valuable lesson that day. Stay away from where many people have been making noise or are making noise on the ice. Ever wonder why around the marina fishing tapers off!!!! Now you know.
