Ice fishing sled ideas (tow behind snowmobile)
#1
I am brainstorming ideas for building a sled to tow behind my snowmobile for ice fishing and other uses. I have a couple of good skis as a start, but could use some good examples of what other have build before I start putting it together.

I know I want at least the following
1- rack for ice auger
2- pole mounts
3- dog sled type spot for an additional person to stand on the back

Anyone have a sweet sled they have built or seen that they would be willing to share?

I know this wasn't exactly what you wanted, but I bought a jet sled xxl sled and the tow bar for $100.00 at sportsmans warehouse. I had a medal dog sled that I towed behind my snowmobile, and it was very heavy. The plastic sled is light weight and glides across the snow better. It didn't bog my snowmobile down so bad. When I don't use the snowmobile I can still pull it by hand out on to the lake. I am able to fit my rod locker with 6 poles, 2 square plastic 5 gallon buckets, ice fishing spoons, sonar, and auger, with some room to spare. Then I strap down my shack on top of it all. The shack tends to keep the snow out of the sled. Just a thought to throw out there.
