[font "Calibri"]Fished Pineview earlier today but it seemed just about everyone was having about the same luck - only caught 1- 8in crappie and that was just off the bottom in 42 FOW on a last attempt bait switch to a Hali lure (fire tiger), tipped with a waxie (released). The bite was VERY light when/if at all. [/font]

Go to browning. No one was there (and now will be after this) Ice is thicker and theres plenty of little dinks and few nice ones mixed in but almost all crappie. Go small, got a bunch on small ice flies under a glow spoon with wax and/or crawlers. 40-45ft and schools at 25-30ft. Bites from 7-12. dead stick worked fine but gotta hit them the first bite, theyre just giving the lure little lick. But theyre biting. Now everyone go get your limit! You might be able to get a 2or3 tacos out it. HA...No sign of tigers.. One of these times.

Go to any sport shop and find some of these type of bobbers. They are amazing especially when the fish are hitting lightly. I've caught 3-5" perch on it easily. Make sure you buy some of the bobber stoppers as well.

good idea, ill have to try that. I use the wire tips to see the bite but they spit it out before i can set.

For anyone whos wondering there was no water on the ice near the dam and appeared to be solid when i left.
