Cabelas tried to sell used crap

So some of you know I have been looking to buy a fish finder for a couple weeks now finally decided to get a hummingbird 688 ice, they had one for 599.00,I was excited, took it to cashier she took the security tag off and the box popped open, I asked her if it was used she called the fish department guy came up we went through it to make sure everything was there. I looked at battery was scratched up and full of dust, the fish finder itself screen was scuffed up he said it was new I kept questioning him about it and he finally told me a lady was going to buy it and changed her mind not to buy it, I told him it looked used I wasn't going to pay 600.00 for something returned he put a strip of tape on it and took it back pissed off, probably going to put it back on shelf. I'm done with Cabelas is all sports warehouse for me. I will never step foot in Cabelas again. Anyone know where I could get the hummingbird 688 ice, sports warehouse, scheels, didn't have any.

Was just talking to my wife about that was disappointing, because I had done all my research and found what I wanted. Don't really have that kind of money but saved for it. I'm glad I looked in the box.

I think I will have to buy it online, just got paid had the money wanted to use it tomorrow at strawberry I'm taking wife and granddaughter so on way home stopped at other stores. We're still going to strawberry anyway fishing blind. But will be fun

I believe he is after the 688 ice, thats a bit more money on Amazon then the standard 688 with or without DI
