Lost Creek Today
#1
Fished LC from about 8-12 today. The depth of the ice is around 6-8 inches with some slush around the edges. However, at most places including the boat landing and dam the ice extends all the way to the bank. There is a big crack or pressure ridge in the middle of the lake, but it isn't close to where most people fish. The ice was creaky and noisy, especially as the temp came up (25 when I arrived, 42 when I left). As for the fishing, it was mediocre. I know they were there, but had only sporadic action and ended up with only a few cuts. Lost Creek is hit or miss, and today was mostly miss. Still, it was a great day to be out, properly capped with an awesome burger at Taggart's Grill.

It's definitely hit or miss. I've never ice fished there but last fall it seemed like you could catch 20 fish one day and get skunked the next. Thanks for the ice report.
