Friday's Cast and Blast

Friday, everything went quick, me and
Capt. Bret Ryan made a little duck
hunt. (45 minutes) The first 6 that
flew over, I knocked 3 of them down, we
got our 9 more and done.

Then I took my friends wife and her
uncle on a little trip about 10 miles
out the marina, at around 3:30 in the
evening and the bite was on.

While reeling in that big redfish, I
asked her, "What's the biggest redfish
you ever caught?" She said,"I never
caught one before."

Nice little 30 pounder, on light
tackle.

So much to do in Venice in the winter, and to top it off, the offshore fishing is off the hook also with plenty of big tuna coming off the midnight lumps and wahoo coming into the dock.
