Starvation tournament CANCELLED!

Weather hasn't been kind for ice conditions lately. I just got an email from Vernal DWR that informed me that the Starvation tournament for Feb 7 has been cancelled due to rapidly deteriorating ice conditions.

I have no more information than that. Contact the State Park if you want more information.

I thought they were going to change it to a shoreline contest if the ice was bad. Is that a no go now, do u know"

Best guess is that they have too much bad ice and not enough open water to make a good tournament. That's just speculation though.
