Has anyone been out to Blue Lake lately? Reports?

Not exactley recent but I was there early December. Didn't do so well, waded around the lake for a a while managed to spook a decent looking bass near where the stream comes in. The water was crystal clear. Tried messing around in the float tube for a bit for some deeper water with No luck (I really had no idea what I was doing though). Ditched the tube and wandered up stream for a bit and saw quite a few smaller but nice looking bass. the foliage was super thick and the stream was so narrow and clear it was really difficult to get a fly presented to them without spooking them or getting tangled up. Ended up getting the biggest blugill I'd ever seen haha but other than that it was kinda just an exploratory day. Most action I saw though was around where the stream enters the lake and upstream. Sorry if this wasn't what you were looking for this is my first post. I figured it might help Ya out if you hadn't been before

I came from salt lake and the roads were good and paved up until the last few miles were gravel. A bit bumpy but nothing crazy. I would be cautious though when you reach the "parking lot", the ground was real wet when I was there so I stayed on the gravel area. I could easily see how you could get stuck if it had recently rained or something. Just like the time I parked a little too close to yuba... One last thing id recommend bringing a gps or smartphone cause it wasn't very well marked.

I have never been there, but have read on here about lots of cars broken into in the parking lot. I would be careful of that.
