Boat slip docking question ?

Just bought a super clean older gulf stream fiberglass boat . And looking to rent a slip for the season . Anybody have any suggestions or advice on leaving a boat docked in the slip? Thanks for the feedback. James

how big is your boat and, do you have a good cover
does it have a auto bilge pump
If you have the money it should be ok

Good info. No automatic bilge ( I would need one installed ) but a good cover. What is barrier coat? Good Info exactly what I was looking for . Thanks.
