I remember that someone on the site had bought the drill adapter for the ice auger and I was wondering how it worked. Just like everything else it looks to good to be true. Please update us if you have tried it or seen it used.

I think it was polo who did but I'm not for sure you may want to look back a few pages or do a search.

It was me, and I never had one, but was considering picking one up to try. My dewalt drill motor has since shot the bed and I need a new one of those. I guess i need to pick one up just to try. Maybe call Bill Gephart to do a test try????

Thanks anyway's.. I was just hoping that someone had a good report and that it did drill 20 holes on 1 battery and really worked. The gephart thing may be worth a try....
If anyone else has info please pass it on...

I know a guy that claims he could make those. His biggest concern was having enough orders to make it worth his time. He said he could turn out 25 pieces for $10-$15 each. If enough people want them, I'd be willing to contact him again and try to make it happen. Just a thought.

I also bought one from ebay, a guy named Rod. He was very professional and I would recommend dealing with him because I got the adapter really fast. The adapter is very well made, and anyone could make one if they knew how to weld and had a pipe and a rod that would fit into their drill chuck. I will try it out this weekend and let you guys know how it worked.

I would be interested in buying one for $10-$15 if your friend could make them. Keep me posted on that one. Has anyone tried one yet??? How much were they on ebay??? I'll look for some reports after this weekend.

Maybe someone will bring one up on the 17th so we can see how well it works. It sounds almost too good to be true. Sure would be lighter than an augur and take up a lot less room in a sled. If it works I would like to buy one also. Maybe the guy that makes them could demo it on the 17th and take orders right there at Rockport. Do you know what amp drill it takes? I only have a 12 amp.DKS
