Will 4:00 am come already. Heading to the Gorge to fish the big fellas for 3 days starting tomorrow. I have yet to catch a mack bigger than 10ish. I think I am doing all the right stuff and sooner than later I am bound to snag a 20 pounder in the tail, eventually. Hook one in the mouth would be even cooler. My buddies around me have hooked 20+ pound fish and make it look simple. Caught piles and piles of pups, Kokes, Rainbows. I am determined in the next 10 years I am going to be on the board with a 20+ pound fish. I didnt say 30+ or a 40+, I am keeping the goal realistic. I hope to be putting pictures up first of the week. I went up in July and got bit 5 or 6 times and broke one off so who knows. These fish might be a little smarter than the 1-3 pound stripers I am capiable of catching year after year.

Anyone else fishing out of Lucerne this weekend. Hit us up if you care to, I am a pretty decent guy (so I think). Yet to meet another BFT guy on the water. Be in a 20ft Bayliner blue and white with a nissan kicker and a minnkota up front.

Last weekend 75 FOW was key success was quite good. The fish were in pockets closer to the manila end of the bay.

Hey outdoorsman, Pound Sand.

That is my ear muffed version of what I would really like to tell you.

Its people like you on this site than steer people away. I am pretty sure almost every person that read my post read it with the feeling of my frustration of not hooking up a pig at the gorge. Fished it a few times last year and I sucked it up. Had high hope this trip and the next 5 or 6 trips I hope to go this year to the gorge and catch pigs. I caught 6 and let them go over the weekend. Pictures again Pound Sand, call me a liar, I dont give a fuzz.


I and going to fish the gorge as much as posible this year and next and the next and the next and so on and so on. I am going to try my best while not breaking any laws keep kill eat as many as big giant mack as possible. I might even pay the big guides to take me out a few times this year to make sure I can Kill big 40-50 year old beasts.

So Ootdoorsman #1. (Oh You Number 1 in my book and I am sure others too) here is to me killing as many giant 30-50 year old macks at the Gorge just to be a jack wagon to you. Look for my boat. 20 foot bayliner/ wake board tower, named Sotally_Tober, loud stereo. I will be the boat dragging Dead 30-50 pound fish on a rope because I can evertime I catch one. Again not breaking any laws.

Note to you my number 1. I did catch and release all 6 this weekend and was pretty dang excited to report that I finally after lots of trips 1000's of dollars got to catch some pigs. This will be the last time I release them. I will kill a pig anytime I go. I am going to teach as many people I know what I know. Take people fishing for free, bring kils, load the boat wityh 10 people(which my boat is rated for) so I can drag 10 40-50 pound fish behind my boat for everyone esle to see. I will tell this is compliments to the one and only Outdoorsman#1 on BFT.

If you are gonna start killing big macks because of that statement then you were gonna do it anyway. The fish gods are frowning down on you for that.... Geez again...lol
