Minersville?
#1
What are conditions like at Minersville Reservoir? Is the ice off yet? I would like to make a trip with the kickboat in the next few weeks.

Since the lake really never iced up. Its not the traditional ice off time. Fishing is slow..

I went yesterday and as was mentioned fish are not cruising the shore like usual. Luckily I had my boat with a fish finder. Found most out in the middle of the lake.

Hey, what type of fly or jig is that, looks interesting. I am always curious about terminal tackle, everyone has a different take on it. Often it is how and where it is fished.

Uintaman. I was fishing there about 4 years ago and an older gentleman was killing it. It was literally a fish almost every cast. I asked him what he was using and he said it doesn't have a name and it is just something that he made. He showed it to me for about 2 seconds before he started casting again. I went off memory of what I saw, but I don't think I have it right. It is like a mohair leech with red tied on the front like a egg sucking leech. Anyway was good enough for the biggest fish of the day.
