Hello!
#1
Hello everyone! Excited to talk fishing with real fishermen! I'm from central Utah and spend most of my free time fishing. I LOVE trolling for Kokanee but I'll fish for anything I can throw a hook at. This weekend I've been catching Browns at Jordanelle Reservoir.

Welcome to the site HT, where do you usually go to fish for kokanee? I'm going to move your post to the main utah board, so other members can say hi.

Thanks WH2! I fish the gorge the most for Kokes but have finally figured them out at Strawberry Res so I've been hitting them hard the past couple years there as well. I have also fished for them in Porcupine Res in Cache valley but there's no size to the fish in that small body of water. Looking forward to see if the DWR ends up stocking Jordanelle Res in the near future. I've actually been wanting to figure out wiper fishing in Willard Bay. I may need to message you to see if you have any suggestions on catching them with the down riggers? Thanks for letting me be a part of the group!

I too would like to see them put kokes in Jordanelle Res.
You really don't need to use downrigger at Willard but I know a few members have, send me a PM if you think I can be of any help.

Welcome to the best forum in Utah....

What kind of boat are running and if you don't mind what electronics are you using for the Koke's. Asking because I'm looking to move into a Hummingbird 999ci hd si and curious as to what technology you might be running.
