Did anyone see open water at strawberry today other than the ladders?

There was probably 30ish feet of open water on the furthest west edge of Chicken Creek - that first little bit of water you see driving Highway 40 towards Duchesne.

We are holding off there, waiting for the ice to receded enough to make for some fun ice off fishing from shore.

I drove down the SC damn road a ways and didn't see much open water at all. The ice was receding in a couple spots, but only a few feet. The ice was rotting though and it won't be long at all now. Other than the ladders, the SB side looked pretty much the same.

Strawberry is still iced up in a lot of areas.Soilder creek marina is completely open water today. I'm bringing the boat back tomorrow. Fishing wasn't that great like it usually is on ice off due to the warm weather and wind taking all that ice off in 2 days. It was 70 degrees at Soilder creek yesterday afternoon with wind. The wind has already started picking up today with a current temperature of 58 degrees. Solider Creek will be mostly iced off by the weekend.

I was down there Sunday. I figured that it wouldn't take long with the warm temps this week.
