we were trolling flies (buggers, clousers).
The bottom photo shows the biggest fish on the ruler: 21".

LOL, didn't even see that ruler but the one you are holding looks bigger than 21". Guess it is just a fat fish, they must be eating good in that lake.

I just got off the phone with my brother standing on the shore at Minersville. He said there was a huge hatch of some kind of tiny bugs at Minersville just as the sun was setting this evening.
He said the whole lake came up, he ran down and caught 9 and lost a couple. All big trout and one was a slot buster Cutt.
He was using a fly and a bubble.

I was sitting on jordanelle once and a hatch happened. The fish went nuts. I caught a nice bow on ultralight tackle. My buddy couldn't believe it either.

i see this happen a lot. Usually after everyone is off the water. Just before dark. Mostly in the summer and fall... I need to go check minersville out. Its like a EC on roids... Awesome fish!
