Here's a couple of pictures of some of this years fish. The lmb is a giant I recently caught here in Utah. There definately are giants here just hard to find and extremely smart. Sorry about the background being fuzzed. I've spent thousands of hours looking for a double digit bass here in utah and with our warm water fisheries being limited here I don't want to disclose the location. I was by myself so the selfie shot is the worst ,luckily i got it close to my face to get the body in. The crappie was from deer creek I caught during a bass tourney, ended up winning so i had a close friend mount it who does amazing work. I just got it back, i'm hanging it next to the plaque. It was 13 and a half inches long. The blue gill my son caught, in fairness to him I can't disclose the location, he's the best at blue gill and crappie and has hung a handfull of giants like this one. I mounted this one for him and its on his wall. -Tight lines-

so it all depends on the size of the fish. I had a replica mount done for a 44# laker from the gorge I caught about 8 years ago and if i remember right it was around 550ish. I caught another a few years back that was 38# but the cool thing about it is that it had a 14" kokanee salmon in its mouth so i had the kokanee mounted too, both replicas and they turned out good, I've got a laker on the wall with a koke hanging out of his mouth. I think total it was at about 500 as well. Now the smaller fish like the crappie and blue gill were cheap. A shade under 300. I've got bass and a some others that are somewhere in the middle. but the guy who does them is from san diego and is a friend. He's mounted hundreds of quality so.cal bass and other fish. Needless to say i'm running out of wall space. Oh, no on snap shot of the week , not sure what that is.

Double digit bass huh? Should have confirmed the weight and busted the 10.2 lb record set back in 1974. Either way, nice fish.

10lb 1oz. on berkley digital scale. So no not the record and the length wasn't close enough to dennis millers. Unfortunately it has to be a certified scale and at 9 at night the post office was closed and walmart wouldnt do it .

Ya , not one too close to where i was that I'm aware of ,Park rangers helper said DNR could have met the next morning but no big deal, fish lose too much weight sitting around. You can't keep it in a livewell all night. I'm on to the next.
