I took my little man with me to go Fish the Creek by our house. We went around 2 and fished til 3. Caught 25-30 fish, we lost count. Most of them were pretty dinky Browns but we caught some pretty decent ones as well. I have always fished Hobble since i was a little boy, sometimes ya gotta take a break from the big lakes and throw a Blue Fox up stream and hook into some fighters.

Love the pictures. Looks like he's a satisfied lil' fisherman! Good on you for getting out with your son--great memories.
Not asking for a honey hole or anything, but what are my options for accessing Hobble Creek. My only experience with that creek is near the campsites up past the Golf Course. Where are the fishing places between the canyon and Utah Lake?

When i was younger the entire creek was good fishing for me, i would just walk along the bank and fish anywhere, even if it was in someones back yard. Lately i just fish south of Center Street where ever i can access it. I dont really have any honey holes, i just throw on a silver or gold Blue fox spinner and the whole creek is a honey hole, where there is slow running water there are usually fish that will take the ol spinner. If you want to catch quality fish though you gotta head up about 2 miles and up from the golf courses. just stay clear from the camp grounds, the fish are pretty skittish around them.

Did you mean North of center street? Hobble Creek is on the north side of center street once you cross main street.
I recognize the chain link fence behind you in the pictures. Were you fishing the pool below the dam?
