hatchery pellet power bait

has any one tried hatchery pellet power bait its a brown colored power bait I know its been out for a while but have never tried it I figured I'd dip it in some smelly jelly and see how it does?

depends on where and what your fishing for but ive never caught anything on it worth catching. community ponds is all its good for. gotos- Chunky cheese garlic, green or yellow, or the turbo rainbow garlic. The expensive stuff out fishes the regular and makes it worth the money.

it was a freebee from our supplier when you buy a case of power baits they send you a free bottle and I thought I would try it that's why I said that I was going to dip it in some smelly jelly

I find it interesting that some folks think all you will catch on power bait is planted fish..Nothing could be further from the truth.

The bait contains an enzyme that attracts fish. Doesn't matter where the fish grew up.
I,m a reformed bait fisherman and still use power bait with the kids and when I take my 80 yr old dad fishing.

I have caught Cutthroats, Brooks, Tigers, Rainbows, Bass, bluegill, catfish and a friend caught a wiper all with power bait..Both Native and non native fish.

As far as flavor goes...You can throw out everything that you have...You only need one flavor..Salmon Peach!..regular or with Glitter...Carolina rig with 4lb floro and you will out fish everyone. That is except the knowledgeable guy with a fly rod.[]
