Dumb me - Web. 4/13
#1
Wasn't going to post, but a few things were a bit different. First off, left my back pack with all my flies, etc and fish bag home. [:p] What a dummy! [frown] Ended up on the river with 1 beat up old prince but managed to catch this nice 19" brown and then quit. [Smile] Spent the rest of the time with Rusty. Of note, water flow below Echo has gone from .84 scfs to 60 scfs.!!!!!

I went up to Park City on Fri and I've never seen the Weber so low this time of the year. I guess they are holding back all the water they can for Echo but above Echo the river seems to be at a normal flow. Sad thing was on Sunday I went to Willard and they have already shut off the water going in there[Sad], not a good start to the water year. Secondary water is suppose to be turned on tomorrow and the snowpack for the Weber-Ogden drainage is already down to 29%, sure hope this storm hammers the mountain. Nice brown Fred.

Way to make it happen with what you had. I once drove an hour from home to discover I had all of my flies, but no fly rod.[Sad] Had to call my son and the enterprising little bugger charged me $20 to meet me halfway with it. Joke was on him however, I'd have paid him $30, the fishing was great that evening.
