With this weather hitting, does everyone think it will shutdown that catfishing? We have been out a couple times and have done pretty good in the river. Was wanting to go on friday but with this weather, I am just a little nervous.

I think the cold weather will slow them down but it won't shut them down. They gotta eat... warm weather or cold. When the water temps get up around 60 degrees the action will pick up. Won't be long now.

I agree with BLK, it will be slower, but you can still pick some up, especially if you're fishing the deeper water channels... The areas I fish in the shallows will slow way down with the colder weather, but it will be a depth dependent thing keeping the water temp as warm as possible... I'll probably try deeper stuff this weekend until I find where they are at... Good luck... J
