East canyon tips?

Heading to east canyon tomorrow, never been there before & wondering where on the lake is the key points & what's the best setup to use?

I heard people have good successe with pop gear & wedding rings?

I love East Canyon trout fishing! Its my favorite trout lake next to Strawberry! I always do just fine trolling rapalas and am not a huge fan of pop gear. They were feasting on baby crappie last month and a white shadrap was the key to catching the bigger fish! My favorite spots are from the dam east around the bend and back starting at the cliffs on the south side.

i got a few rapalahs but dont think i have any white, wonder if my f7 flat fish would do any good?

They should all work fine, the trick is to weed through the small planters and get the bigger smarter fish to bite. This is where I have found bigger/deeper helps. Anything resembling a crappie minnow was the trick last month!
