Rockport water levels
#1
Yesterday I got the Crestliner out of mothballs and decided to take a quick run to Rockport to test everything. No fish were harmed in this outing.

The water level looked pretty low (maybe 10 to 15' low) and that south end where the river comes in, and which is normally covered with water, was all high and dry.

At the boat launch I spoke with the Ranger, he said that this was going to be the high water mark for the year. As a matter of fact he said he just came in from adjusting buoy's - those that were in 9' two weeks ago are now 3' deep.

Better get out while you can cause it could get epic.

Peter, I blame you for this low water problem.
If you would have not bought such a nice boat last summer we would have received tons of water over the winter!

Wait a minute - I know a couple of other guys who have some pretty nice new water craft.
In 2 weeks it's off to Powell! I'll report right after I decontaminate.
