Hit Willard outside the North Marina this evening with my son and plenty of others. Fishing was great. Catching still a little slower than the reports from Friday. Did manage a couple "small" crappie, the largest just over 12 inches. Still larger than any I've caught before. In all a good time and managed to avoid the yard work for another day.

Yeah, it was slow today compared to a week ago! We only caught a couple crappie and two walleye... I guess we got spoiled earlier, because that's probably not a bad day, but we had to troll the whole dang lake for two stinking eyes!
Anyone find the wiper?

I was out there on my float tube for a few hours in evening and only caught a couple crappie as well. Didn't manage a water temp reading...anyone happen to get one?

We found 3 wiper and two crappie in freeway bay. Once I found them we got four fish in about a half hour, but I trolled a lot of empty area between my first and the last four. Interesting that my first and the rest were within 200 yards of each other. Should have stayed there earlier. Fun day, wish I could have stayed longer but glad I got out for a while. Later J

What kind of boat were you in? It wasn't a green tracker by chance was it? Thanks for the report.
